ErbB2-overexpressing breast tumors are characterized by very aggressive clinical courses and decreased survival rates, mostly due to the poorly differentiated, highly proliferative and highly invasive nature of their constituent cells. From Italy comes this research, published in Molecular Cancer in 2010, sharing findings which suggest that these highly aggressive and low responsive tumors could be efficiently treated with non-psychoactive CB2-selective agonists without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue.
