Session #7
Building People Power and Coalitions to Advance Equity and Racial Justice
In this session, we will discuss how we can continue to advance policy in support of equity and justice as the cannabis sector grows and generates more profits. After a brief introduction, we will break into four regions (Nor Cal, Central Valley, LA and So Cal) so that participants can begin the process of connecting with one another and learning about one another’s efforts. In closing, we will share opportunities on the horizon to further advance equity in cannabis policy. Presenters: Marc Philpart, ABMoC, Jim Keddy and Sarah-Michael Gaston, Youth Forward, and Malaki Seku Amen, California Urban Partnership
