Mikhail Kogan, MD, ABOIM is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Kogan is a leader in the newly established field of Integrative Geriatrics. He is the editor of “Integrative Geriatric Medicine” Oxford University Press textbook. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, and Integrative Medicine. Dr Kogan is currently serves as medical director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, associate director of the Geriatric and Integrative Medicine Fellowships at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr Kogan has been early adopter of DC Medical Cannabis program and has been instrumental in DC Rx Medical Cannabis education program. Dr Kogan is a frequent speaker at a variety of international conferences and has multiple media appearances related to medical cannabis. At present Dr Kogan is conducting pilot research program on assessing non psychoactive forms of cannabis such as CBD and CBDa for neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases.
